- Here is the recipe:
2 fistfuls of Spaghetti- for each person, Salt,Olive oil - Cook the Spaghetti according to package directions, or take the easy way out, Like me, Use a pressure cooker...steam for 2 whistles, and it's done! Drain and set aside.
For the Spices and Tempering:1 tbsp - Olive or any cooking oil
1 large onion - chopped1 large green pepper - chopped, 1 large Jalapeno pepper- chopped
3 large tomatoes - chopped - you can also use Canned ones1 tsp- Jeera (cumin) seeds
1 tsp- Dhania-Jeera PowderSalt, A pinch of sugar to taste.
Heat some oil in a pan. Add the Cumin seeds, when they turn dark brown, add the onions and the peppers. Stir until they turn translucent. Now add the tomatoes. Stir for 5 minutes more. Add the cooked spaghetti now. Give it a gentle toss and add the spices. Stir until nicely coated, adjust seasonings and serve hot with some garlic bread. Enjoy!
