Tuesday February 12th 2013

Hello again! What a bright sunny day today in my neck of the woods! It was so pleasant, it actually brightened my mood up a lot.
Here is today's recap of meals:

☕Breakfast: toasted English muffin with strawberry jam and tea.

Snack: a delicious whole blood orange and boy it was so good!

Lunch: spicy Mexican wrap with just onions, tomatoes, green peppers, cheese and some low fat sour cream and hot sauce. I tried the white wrap this time and I felt totally okay! No pains or bloated feelings in the belly.

Dinner: ugh...had to run around before hockey practice with the boys so ended up going to Burger King and had a veggie burger and some fries. I was so turned off from the meal that I think I'm going to stay away from this joint for a good while.

I only drank teas today. Today has been a long day with work starting super early, hockey practice with boys and I have yet to go home as I write this blog post at my sons hockey rink. No plans tonite except to finish a bit of laundry and crash for the night haha. it may even be a snow day tomorrow!? here's hoping so I can sleep in a little! Till tomorrow,

Be good to yourselves,
-T

I have never liked a Veg. burger patty anywhere :(
They are made like an afterthought, which they probably are.
That wrap on the other hand, very interesting!

GET TO KNOW: BLACK CUMIN SEEDS

black cumin seeds = royal cumin seeds = kala jeera = shahi jeera = saah jeera Pronunciation: KUH-min Notes: Indian cooks use this spice in many of their curries and tandoori dishes. It's darker and sweeter than ordinary cumin. To bring out its nutty flavor, it helps to toast the seeds briefly before using them. Substitutes: cumin (Not as sweet as black cumin.) OR nigella
